Schools : Take note of the distance of the school to the property,within walking distance or drive.

Public Transport : When purchasing "Buy To Let " , public transport is an important factor.

Maintenance : Face brick - low maintenance
Plaster - regular painting
Aluminium frames - none
Wood or steel - high maintenance

Single Title -subject to the owner
Sectional Title - exterior structure to the body corporate


Levies/ Rates / Servies : It is important to take the cost into account when purchasing a property adding to your monthly expenses.

Rules and Regulations : Request a copy of the complex or estate rules . Take note of the regulation re PETS as more and more body corporates are not allowing pets at all.

The responsibility of the legality of a building rests with the owner. Request a copy of the building plans.
